thought sand would have been more appropiate with a name like yours
but that said, a good idea of yours to clean off the salt and grit.
Take care and wash around all the joints in the body work, and re wax, done mine yesterday and found loads of salt stuck hard in the panel joints, so a good wash n wax won't go amiss at this time, and wash underneath with a fine but pretty powerfull jet spray. Not forgetting the roof, a lot of spray from the roads get's on top as well.
