Thumbs down Skip Croatia !

Belgian (and other) MHr's had unpleasant stays in Croatia:
Wilding has allways been against the law but now they became more severe and gready
- almost all parkings have height barriers
- the few ones without have very high parking charges
- 'no camping' everywhere
- no more watersupply in gas stations
- camping prices have doubled or tripled last years, and their services are meager
Police are not polite
They even write out penalties if you cannot prove you stayed at a camping previous days (500 kuna)
Though it is beautifull country I skipped it off my list 'to do'.
When they are so gready to ripp us off, they don't deserve we spend our money overethere anymore

cannot even think that anyone would want to go to these eastern European countries, we all know they want to rip us off . ok the scenery is great but when you come to look at it why are so many of there own people over here? makes you think. we have enough problems in this country with wild camping, ie you cannot park here or you cannot park there , why o why do we go over there and then complain about how we are treat. seems like hitting your own thumb with a hammer then blaming the hammer. it seems to me we are going down a road that is giving us more info on overseas travel than what we have available over here. ok france germany and the like but the old soviet block if i was even thinking about going there what i have gleaned of here i would definitely give those places a miss.

I don't think they bother about it. Just after the yugo-wars when everybody was afraid going there, MH's were welcome for most of their touristic infrastructures went down the drain. Now they fixed it (more or less ); it's back to business: get the most possible money out of the tourist's pockets, for these *******s are so rich and showing it off with their wealthly MH's !
