Question Mahrud ytnuoc

Heres a pic I took recently of a County Durham sign complete with directional arrow, can anyone explain why it,s back to front.
I hav,nt tampered with the pic in any way, honest

From the look of the fence in the foreground I would guess that it's a very overgrown disused railway line.

Well done Geoff, it is in fact a very overgrown (In use Mainline), York to Darlington

i took same pic when i was walking with lenny and the dogs at croft ithough it was strange
