Does anyone use a sony e reader if so what type of books do you read

I am amazed at all the publicity these E-readers have got as if it's something new. For about the last 7 or 8 years I have been reading books on my Dell Axim PDA using Microsoft reader. I have literally (excuse the pun) thousands of ebooks. I find loads from various sites, the formay doesn't matter as I can convert them to MS LIT format using Word or Calibre.
PDA's seem to have gone out of fashion, I can use my Dell Axim (the wife has one as well) for playing games, accessing the internet, until recently as a SatNav (Tomtom), for walking using a GPS with Memory Map, almost everything you can do on a PC (although some things are a bit difficult). In fact I could have used it as a phone many years before the I-phone if I had chose the compact flash GSM adapter (I got the CF TV one which is only analogue )

Save your money & get a PDA off eBay, it will do everything al these 'new' gadgets will do for less money.

Sorry back on thread I read all sorts, at the moment I am re-reading Tom Sharpe Wilt on High, James Patterson, Dean Koontz plus what ever takes my fancy. I can recommend Ken Follett The Pillars of the Earth & World Without End also some of his other books.
Good website for finding books / authors is http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk
