Got my mot tomorrow £54.00 :eek:

so this morning i checked starter battery and was 12.4 on the meter and when the van was running it then was showing 14.2.

went to the leisure battery and was 12.2 when the van was running it was showing 14.3 does this seem the norm :D

by the way both batterys were disconected 4 months apart from 2 starts
one in Jan and late Feb.........................

Hi blasting chimp ;),
Battery capacity (measured without load):
100% 12.7 V
90% 12.6 V
80% 12.5 V
70% 12.4 V
60% 12.3 V
50% 12.2 V
40% 12.1 V
Below 12.3 V is the danger area.
Your starter batt should be OK, only needs reloading.
14.2 - 14.4 is the normal voltage to have relaoding while the engine is running. After about 30 min the batteries should be reloaded.
If not: premature death
Yours,
Leo
