I like to keep the van nice and shiny and after 30 years of cleaning and polishing caravans/motorhomes have finally decided on my 3 favourite cleaning products.
The first stage is to get rid of the unsightly black streaks that are the bane of motorhomers everywhere.................
Muc Off 707A Caravan Cleaner, 5 Liter: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike does a great job and is easy to apply and use.
The second stage is to bring the paintwork up to a nice shine..................
Autoglym Super Resin Polish - 1L - Latest Model: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike is perfect for this,it has a slight T cut effect and will revitalise tired and dull paintwork, again very easy to apply and user friendly.
The final stage is to protect the now nice and shiny bodywork and make it easy to erase the ubiquitous back streaks when they reappear................
Meguiar's Deep Crystal Step 3 Carnauba Wax: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike does this job perfectly.A bit more elbow grease required but it's worth it.It wont make any difference to the shiny finish but will protect the paintwork for longer and make it easy to get rid of the inevitable black streaks.
I do mine twice a year, spring and late autumn and it takes a couple of days. What does everyone else use?
