I saw them make something similar on Blue Peter in 1979
it consisted of some string ,a sqeezy bottle,sticky back plastic and a pair of VAL'S OLD KNICKERS............................

Exclamation unusual conversion

holiday 2007 and stevens wedding 048.jpg

Not sure if I,ve done this right , this is a german road sweeper converted to a m/home ( sort of ) , seen it on the ilse of Skye last year .still had a lot of the old fitments on it , was a real crowd puller .

Merc beast..

Wow.. this big old beast will probably run forever, although it's a bit like using a sledge to crack a walnut! Wonder what the fuel consumption is like? Surprisingly, it fits very nicely into a regular parking space which has to be a bonus. Thanks for the pic..

Demountable motorhomes seem like a good idea on paper, I've often wondered why they aren't more popular.

In terms of unusual homes, I've never seen but would dearly love to have a citroën H van conversion. I was going to scour ebay for a donor van but they all needed too much welding work, and now I haven't seen one for ages. What a fantasticly distinctive van that would be !!

You might have more luck in still finding a suitable van in France, buy it from there and import it for your own conversion over here.

Here's one I saw at Beadnell Bay C&CC site, August 2004. Bike rack as well!
I don't think that there is much hope of my van being in such good condition at that age.
