V-trek Conversions
I'm not associated with them in any way, but just found this site via You Tube:
Mercedes campervans | motorhomes | camper van conversions They do an up-market panel van conversion on the Mercedes Sprinter. I have to say it looks pretty good, but very pricey at around £60,000. The reason it grabbed me was they are doing a fixed rear elevated bed over a garage in a panel van which is similar to the layout I'm doing on my self build. Their bed is longitudinal though as opposed to mine which is transverse. They've used a slightly longer narrrower van than me so it makes sense. This is a great layout in the European style, not often seen in panel vans.
The longitudinal raised bed gives great access to both occupants for those middle of the night trips, and also means a huge garage ideal for sports equipment like surf boards or bikes. If I had the space in my van I'd do this layout. My van is 5.4m long and I think you need a minimum of 6.0m to do the V-trek layout.
