Like all HOT COUNTRIESmidges, mosquito's ,scorpions, snakes, vultures, wild boar, wolves, bear, tortoises, lizards and the like,i hasten to add that these are in different locations in Bulgaria and its absolutely wild and fantastic,we've been to sites dating back 5000 years up in the mountains where someone hasn't been for years, the coast is another storey, the 'tourist' spots are horrible in our view, but when you drive into the nature reserves and sand dunes up north past Varna or South near to Turkey its amazing, inland lakes and mountains are breathtaking like Wales or Switzerland.
Dont let me put you off,you have fly screens,'they' are only about at sunrise and sunset so open your windows, shut your flyscreens and your ok!
