found a CS... "yep no probs we have space"...

got there about 6.30pm Friday night... van with bikeboxtrailer... entry OHHHsheeet...90 deg in then right turn....2 inches te spare either side... luxury..
slopey grass field... lumpy and bumpy.. even when dry achieved front wheel spin turning the unit around...
1 hookup point (not used) disposal and drinking water, wooden toilet block (unfinished unisex)

run by an old chap and his wife... nice folkes but crap site at £8.00 per night.

You been going mad with the Brut again ???

To be honest we're having major probs getting anything booked - everywhere is "full" people seem to be booking then not turning up from what we've been seeing & hearing

Take it easy on the Starling& for gods sake don't kick it up into second unless you have stabilisers on & a grown up on stand by

Brut.... use all mine up 20 years ago... .. had a shower instead

mostly 1st and second gear work up there on the blackbird.. 3rd for an occasional little cruise on the main roads... 8 of us did all the passes... 2 with pillions had problems with hardnott ...

passed a few sites that didn't look heaving... but if they say they're full i aint gunna argue ... money goes else ware

£8 a nite ?

i know we are all different on wildcamping i have never in 15 years paid to camp i would never pay when there are such wonderfull places all over this land of ours,
just a few simple things to remember dont park to close to anyone.
allways park saftly off the road. dont leave rubbish . close all gates. watch open fires. and treat everyone as you would want to be treated.

looking forward to seein you all happy camping.
