Anybody taken their van over to Belle Ile in Brittany? I wondered what the ferry costs for a motohome and how easy it is to park? I know there is a camping municipal which are usually very cheap, but aires are even cheaper.
Any advice? We're thinking of going in September, not July/Aug when the whole of France hits the coast!

I seem to remeber that one of the boats goes from Quiberon but don't shout at me if I am wrong

it's 200 return for a car and driver plus 30 for each extra passenger ...about 15 min trip

don't think they take motorhomes , at those prices they won't be taking mine anyway !

Just found out the cost from the previous link, I don't think we'll be going either. Interesting though, there are at least 3 campsites on the island. We'll just stick to the aires in Brittany.
