No it's fine - there's a very large grassed off road area :)

a friend of mine told me that you can wild camp in new polzeath.
he says he has parked up in the parking bays right on the sea front which say 'camping, cooking and over night sleeping prohibited'
he claimed no one has ever said anything to him after years of staying there.

we gave it a try too and was fine. we did stay in the dead of winter though,
so there was no one there to move us on :)

I've generally found that winter is OK but summer gets difficult; at least, I haven't been moved on yet

I live 10 miles away from New Polzeath its my local surf break you can camp on the sea front the side on bays will take a 22ft van just but the face on bays will only take a 18ft van if your wheels are out of the bay on the road side you will get a ticket for sure and I would say 2 days max but you can stay on the main Polzeath carpark over night but you will have to pay for a ticket if anyone needs any info on Cornwall please email me I drive a lorry in Cornwall so I know the area well and the place's you can and can't fit a motorhome

This is a fair point but what your missing is that it does not say no overnight parking so you could be talking or play cards and most people think because its not on the road that it means the grass in my picture which was taken today I have lived here for over 20 years and seen hundreds of vans motorhomes park here overnight I have been down here at 5am in the morning and not been able to park here its just been full of vans .
the other picture is the parking charges for Polzeath beach car park I will say they don't like people sleeping in cars but vans/motorhomes are not bothered my friend stayed here for 5 days with no problems
