If anyone uses Autoroute I use a .peu file that lists Aires in Europe, some limited info on them i.e what's available, any charges etc, not all have info but useful.

They also supply a fully loaded (with all the aires) garmin sat nav.
I am seriously considering buying one. Is or has anyone else?

Got to agree with that. Only intended to be on here for a few minutes but doesn't it make you drag it on especially when chatting about certain topics.

Just get this CD. It has all of the Aires on it and then you can put them onto your GPS

another good site for getting Aires books is:

http://www.vicarious-shop.co.uk/index.php

I bought 2007 aires book (its the white one by Le Monde as opposed to the thicker Green aires book)

Mine was a few years old so thought it time I updated it. Mostly get the Le Guide Officiel but it is useful to have a copy of Le Guide Nationel as well.
