Tarr Steps on Exmoor: Nice little circular walk there and if you.re really lucky you may see some throbber trying to use the ford that runs along side the steps. The ford is OK with 4x4 but not so good with a Volvo v40 - :D

Lynmouth but parking is difficult with a Motorhome. Park at th top in Lynto and take the Railway down and back.

The BIG Sheep - All Weather Attraction - Days out, North Devon (http://www.thebigsheep.co.uk/) Go there and keep an open mind and it's good fun. If you go there thinking like an adult then it's a bore

Shopping Centre in Bideford, North Devon - Atlantic Village Shopping Centre (http://www.atlanticvillage.co.uk/) This place is a waste of good building materials. You see parties of wrinklies taken there on coach outings all wandering around looking confused

Thanks for the sheep link!

Think we may avoid the shopping centre

Have a night (or two) at the Anchor Inn at Tintern Abbey. We were there with coolasluck in the Summer. Good spot.

Nice one (glad to see your still alive)

Looks like the plans might now include, Forest of Dean, North Devon, Roscoff and Western Brittany then either home or somewhere else. Who knows.

I should also have included this place The Milky Way family attraction & all weather day out, North Devon. (http://www.themilkyway.co.uk/)

There is a Pub near Woody Bay - Hunters Leap? that allows over-nighting provided you ask and have a drink or a meal
