The Legh Arms has large car park's to side and rear. Motor Homes have been stopping over for many years with sometimes as many as ten and room for more.
The pub is family run and totally friendly, the food is affordable fresh cooked locally sourced and the finest in the area. If you want something really special book into The Crab & Lobster which is owned by the same family and serves the finest food at affordable prices and is next door to the pub.
See The Legh Arms at Home (http://www.legharms.com) and see the Crab & Lobster at Home (http://www.crab-n-lobster.com).
We can provide electricity and water for you.
There is no charge as long as you book for a meal and hopefully drink loads of the best ale for miles
Nearby: Southport Town 5 miles, Preston City 12 miles, Liverpool 20 miles and very close:the famous Martin Mere Wild Fowl Centre, Leisure Lakes, an abundance of coarse fishing, Jet Skiing, paint balling, mountain biking but no mountains etc etc etc
We love you all
Cheers

Hi Gerald,
We are touring the UK commencing April so have stuck this pub on our "must do " list. Do you serve the beer cold like we do here in Australia ??

We would like to say a BIG thank you to Gerald and all the staff at the Legh Arms for a wonderful New Years Eve, we ended up with 4 American rv's (and still room for more), the food was great, good entertainment and fantastic service, there was even a free buffet at midnight.

Would we go again? can't wait for our next visit.

Stayed over at the Legh Arms for a couple of nights before Christmas-great food, beer and welcome from Gerald and his staff.Actually we had a lucky escape,we were going to use a campsite down the road which would have cost us a fair bit more than the money we spent on booze and food in the pub-had a look at the site and it was a right dump. Will hopefully visit again in the near future when the weathers a bit better.Cheers

Just to add, there is a bus service that runs into Southport and onwards to Liverpool or in the other direction to Preston and Blackpool if you want to go out on day trips without looking for somewhere to park your motorhome. Certainly a good place to stop.
