Need to spend one night near Fazakerley, Liverpool in a weeks time.

Anyone know a suitable location, far enough away from the city for safety, but close enough to get there for 0815 Hrs.

If you follow the brown signs listed'Another Place',Anthony Gormley's statues in the sea,you may be able to park there. There is a large parking are by the Coastguard Station. Or you could come over the water to New Brighton and park on the promenade towards the sailing club. Night fishers do it regularly.

Will consider both of these, Canalman suggested the car park at Crosby, but I totally forgot about New Brighton

Thanks

Hi there
we stayed at Formby point, there is a huge car park, with one of the most beutiful beaches ever - 1 of my fave places in the UK. lots of grassy dunes millions of rabbits and its also got its own nature reserve with a pond - fantastic place. Its also got a campsite nearby the postcode is L37-2EB which should get you there. I think it took about 20 - 30 mins to get into liverpool city centre its 15 miles from Fazakerley.
