Hello, We will be travelling to the cc site at Bunree in May and would like to know of a place that we could pull in once we have completed most of our journey. i expect that we would need a place around Oban, just off the main road would be great so that we could get a bit of sleep after our long journey. Does anyone know of such a place ? as we have not yet got a motorhome we will be towing our eriba caravan, many thanks Ellen.

This is Bon Awe as accessed from the A85 - there is another BonAwe on the other side of the loch - 9 miles down a very narrow lane!!!!

To get to the 'right one' take the brown sign for the Old Iron Furnace from the A85
We had a lovely night here, very peaceful - one other camper and some fishermen in a tent. Very scenic. Had our wedding anniversary breakfast at the water's edge

Be aware that the carpark area is not as large at the moment due to massive ammounts of creels etc being stored there, this could impact upon parking and turning space if there were lots of visitors
