:confused:does anyone know if when i lay my van up for winter could i take the wires from the regulator off my leisure battery and connect them to my vehicle battery thereby keeping vehicle battery charged and my alarm woking over winter i would disconnect leisure battery and take it indoors to trickle charge every 2-3weeks :cool:

Why don't you do what this chap suggests (link below) and then both batteries can be kept topped up.
