From Stirling University we followed the road to Sherriffmuir. There were several parking places including Forestry Comission. We parked up on one.Several cars pulled in and out, generally men on their own, sometimes they would walk off onto the moor. We soon realised it wasn't OK for overnighting so we carried on and saw the same cars driving in and out of other car parks !!!!!!!

For what reason did you decide to move?

Sounds like a "dogging spot" from the description of original post :scared:

Ah well, if its just dogging you will just need to make sure your blinds are shut. If its more serious then you reported it to the Police?

Once you have had the experiance and can recognise the signs, its all the more easier to avoid in the future. We recognised the perverts the second time around in Norfolk and drove off.Keeping away from perverts and the hot hatch brigade is all part of learning about wilding.Did we have all this crap in the 70s and 80s or is it just that we dont have any real policing these days?

It is a well known dogging area..Best places are in the trossachs on a few miles out of Stirling.Only thing to worry about is in summer around Loch Luibnaig when the locals gather in the sun.
Shame that these spots are used in this way

Champstar is correct about Loch Lubnaig - except it's not the local locals but numpties from the larger towns/cities that come out the countryside for a bonfire and beers. There are many other suitable spots that I will try to identify this summer when I am out and about to help the responsible wildcampers on this site.
