do you mean the Rydale folk museum at Hutton le Hole in N.Yorks?

I can think of 3 possibles:
1. is definitely not a wild spot, but right next door to the museum is a very good Caravan Club CL (Certificated Location) - so you need to be a CC member. And it's dear for a CL - 15, but it has electric, hardstanding, showers, toilets, washups - so really more a small campsite. And it gets booked up, especially at weekends.
2. there's a car park and toilets just on the edge of Hutton Le Hole - heading N out of the village, take right fork towards Rosedale Abbey, and its on your right. BUT it may well be National Park owned, so could well have No Overnighting signs up?? It's marked D on here: hutton le hole - Google Maps (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=hutton+le+hole&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wl)
3. there's also a parking area on the left, about halfway between Keldholme and Hutton - I think it's the one shown on the map just N of the Yoadwath Bank turn.
Beautiful village!

All Bongo peeps are mad.:scared: If you are going to try the CC site I hope your bongo is fully converted. they wouldn't let me on before I converted mine. The CC say they are not Motor homes. Oh by the way Welcome. I hope I bump into you some day, Not literally of course.:lol-053: My kettle is always on and my bottle opener and corkscrew are always handy.

Wildcamping and Overnight parking are not the same then. Isn't the English Language a wonderful thing?

Maybe this website should be renamed.

"Wild Overnight Parking for Motorhomes" :lol-053:

Put me down for a bit of that!

Best Wishes
