London city parkups?

Hello folks

I really fancy heading down from Scotland to visit London for a holiday. Would really like to go see all the touristy places 'cause I've never seen them before. I will be in my mazda bongo van, and don't have to put the roof up so it's reasonably inconspicuous. I'm used to parking in the country, but not the city.

Does anybody have any idea where I should be heading to find a free and safe place to park up?

Also, any tips for being camping in the middle of the city? (Usually I tend to avoid people as much as possible, but won't get away with that this time!)

This was covered before here about a year ago. Try a search and you may find the thread which also had links to a VW forum with some good answers.

But, the places near the centre mentioned will be overnighters only. Like 8.00pm to 8.00am. You won't get parking near the centre in the day unless you want to fork out a wad of cash.
