This overnight spot is a Forestry Commission car park that is found off the road leading north-west out of Dunwich through the Dunwich Forest towards Wenhaston. Once the dog walkers had left, the site was deserted with no appreciable road noise. The co-ordinates are as follows :- N 52.28308/ E 1.60773

been up to the site yesterday and took a few pics of the entrance and where the no camping sign is..

The entrance sign with no mention of overnight camping.

just after the entrance there is a left or right Y junction. The no overnight sign is to the left opposite over near my bedford right in the background
but you can camp on the right side there was 2 tents on the right as well..

The actual sign which is 11inches fron the ground and is 2.5feet wide by 3 feet high and is right at the very edge of the verge so is easily missed if you came in at night..

I stayed in this carpark last night but saw a better one slightly down the road, although it has a hight restriction my vw fitted fine through it and there were no "no overnight camping" signs at that one unlike the one I stayed in. Dog walkers were all gone by around 7pm... there were some early walker but was not bothered by anyone... will definatly be wild camping again soon!
