The entrance to the visitor centre has a small rural car park at 5728.767'N, 405.624'W just outside the NTS gate which is locked each night at 2000 hours.

I spoke to National Trust Scotland staff who say that there are no restrictions on overnighting here. Additionally you can stay in the NTS car park overnight as long as you ask first at the visitor centre and are happy to be locked in overnight.

hI, another car park in the same area, but a bit more remote, is Clava cairns. This is a bronze age burial site, well preserved & very interesting.

Google maps = 57 28'24 N 4 04'18 W
