Most of Bounmoth parking seems to unfriendly, all carparks and sea front roads say no camping.

But, here bornemoth - Google Maps (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=bornemoth&hl=en&ll=50.719561,-1.858213&spn=0.000007,0.005284&sll=51.340907,-2.427979&sspn=1.86328,5.410767&vpsrc=6&t=m&z=18&layer=c&cbll=50.719561,-1.858213&panoid=PUl7Gk_9YMrZYGoB2bIniQ&cbp=12,214.46,,0,14.44) is free 5pm to 9am, flat, and no restrictions for sleeping or cooking.

Quiet, dead end (bar hotel) and off the main drag. Nice view of sea in morning. Not perfect by any means, but after a late night in town it was ideal.

Anybody who pays 20 to park each day has more money than sense.

Boscombe overcliff drive, Southbourne overcliff drive & southbourne coast Rd between Byron Rd & Stevenson Rd (a distance of about 2.1 miles ) has free parking for almost its entire lengh,

with several good gastro pubs & easy access to the beach.

Thanks for putting it on the database Chris, but its not the best spot in this area. Hotel owners say it hinders access & tend to complain.

I posted the above about a month ago.
