This is a lovely and almost private car park.

It is accessed by a 'manned' railway crossing, and he pops out to open the gates for you.

Lovely views. Close to Wandahome/Waudbys for supplies and en route to Hull Ferries.

It is the access road to the sailing club.

(Ps would you prefer Earth co-ordinates or Google maps?)

Yes, would prefer decimal co-ordinates as used on Google Maps.

I cannot get the ones you have posted, maybe me, or is there a way to change them?

Excellent, thanks Lidders.

This looks like a fishing lake close by, do you know anything about that?

Nice to have a place to stop each side of Hull. I use Fort Paul when that side and didn't like the picknick ,viewing area near the bridge.
Thanks for that mate

Nothing to do with Welton (good spot for the wildlife spotters amongst us by the way) but whilst one of our comrades is mentioning the Hull area (or extended area) Just before you get to the main gate of Spurn Point is the "Canal Scrape" car park on your right which is always quiet on a night and used regularly byMH's, just up the road is Holmpton of which the local pub (George & Dragon) are fairly easy going on any one buying the odd pint/meal in return for an overnighter. If they aren't easy going just say "we are with Shaun" and they should quickly agree to a corner of their car park. I'm not family but I might as well be if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the info - the car park you mention is already in the POI database that's available to full members.

I have added the pub to the pub stopover section :)
