I'm watching TV with my grandson Harry. Good god I'd like to throttle Fireman Sam! (but don't tell Harry!).

So far today we have had, Ben & Holly, Rory (which I can cope with more than the rest) and now back to back pepper :(

There are a number of restrictions on parking along Wast Water. Can you confirm, or can someone check, if this car park allows overnighting?

Thanks ...

Chris

I have parked there for walks before, can't remember any signs but I think it is a National Trust car park so their rules will likely apply.

There are a few spots along Wast Water but sadly there is a 6ft 6 restriction along quite a bit of it including the spot you mention although I have seen plenty of big vehicles including motorhomes going down there. I never have for the simple reason that if someone wants to move you on it could get awkward as I guess you have commited a motoring offence.

However. At Christmas we spent a lovely night here just before the restriction sign. The only thing that disturbed us was two police cars around midnight when I was having a last fag outside who for some reason when they drove past started blaring their horns either at each other or at me, who knows!

I was in that car park last week....there is a NT sign that says no overnight camping.
