Much better to go to the car park down past the white eagle pub, ten yards to beach, and toilets, litter bins and water, just back from 2 nights with the new van.

I was in this area for a family party over the weekend and considered this spot. I was taken down in a car before I tried to get my coachbuilt down and opted not to try. I didnt get out of the car but the driver told me after we had left that there was a sign which said no overnighting(so I dont know how official it is) although i would have tried it if I could have got the van to it.
The road down to this is very narrow, has a couple of right angle bends and no passing places.

Happily there is a campsite just at the top of the lane and they only charge 5 a night.

Its narrow, took the old Talbot express down a year or so ago and thought it was tight, but managed to get the new merc 614,lwb down, its not really the narrowness of the lane but the right angle corners, after the pub. Would advise arriving early or late, and never in school holidays, as no passing places and reversing a big van is a no no. But a nice spot.
