Had a lovely holiday at Inverary years ago. We stayed in the old Jailhouse!

hi .
off to West Scotland in April for six weeks. Does anyone know of a place to stop from Tarbet top end of Loch Lomond along the A83 to Inveraray please. Not got my head round POI yet. Be gentle with me please :wave:

Theres a nice car park at Tarbert opposite the Shearings Tarbert Hotel. Also a spot just before Loch Fyne Oysters a few miles after Rest and Be Thankful. Both are in the pois.

Check traffic Scotland website to make sure rest and be thankful road is open, it is notorious for land slips.

There is a large lorry and coach park behind the woollen mill shop. The entrance is opposite the
Londis shop and filling station. The coaches park on the right immediately behind the shop
But the camper vans can park on the left where the wagons park. I spent two nights there last summer
No problems. Although the wagons leave early in the morning I hardly heard a thing.
