You may park at the Hayfield Bus Station for the night

Its not what it sounds as its right next to the Sett Valley Trail and ideal for walking either to the summit of Kinder Scout or just to the local pub

You may find the occasional foreign trucker parked up, usually Dutch flower sellers.

Thanks for that Silverlocks, I love this area. You can also cycle from here to New Mills on the Sett Valley Trail. There is a cycle-hire centre near the car-park. Was there a charge for parking?

If its the Hayfield I think it is, its approx 35 miles north of Matlock Bath. Up the A6 for 30 miles to Chapel-on-le-Frith and then 5 miles north on the A624 towards Glossop.
