Hi Dragon

Once I have added all the counties (by the end of this week I hope) I will ask people who have posted sites elsewhere if I can put their sites on here. This will take a while I guess, but it will be worth it in the end.

Hopefully members will add sites that they know of and we should quickly have a useable database again.

Thanks

Well, all you people visiting this site?! Please help the man out! There must be somewhere that you know of that is a good wildcamping spot, so please add it to the list. And if you have a web site put a link to this site, lets get it going again.

hello to everyone, just signed up. the harbour at Girvan on the Ayrshire coast is a great place to overnight (or several) I use it often, there is always a van or two parked up,the local police regularly partol the area and I have never been bothered. Also several spots on the way to the ferryport of Cairnryan.

Hi all two of my favourite places to put up for a night or two in Scotland :-
AYRE- go down to the front turn right follow sighns for coach park, there are a couple of corners sheltered from the wind overlooking the sea. It is a short walk thro the back doubles into the town, a bit of a stretch to the loo but if you run you should make it in time :D .
HELENSBURGH:- Main carpark again on front drive thro the pay area as far as you can into the long stay, again overlooking the sea often get the occasional lorry there but still quiet.only problem there is they lock the toilets up at night even the disabled ones.[U]:( [/U .
Hope this helps someone to see a wee bit of Gods Country,
Steuart.
