& sometimes LIDL & ALDI

I have one....brilliant piece of kit. Just add a sat finder to make life easier

An excellent way to cure the 'Satellite means Sky' mindset that many Brits seem to have!

Yes Jeff, but that one is not a 12volt receiver unfortunately............though it might be beyond the input transformer:) ... but the last 'Silvercrest' badged one I looked at wasn't:(

Although if one is using an inverter for the telly, I guess it doesn't matter too much, except for power consumption?

Usually all LIDL free-to-air sat receivers are German (PRC sourced) Comags. Darned good sensitive receivers. Ideal for travelling.....you just need a few days to grasp the inner details of the subject.....& Yes I'M PREACHING.........trying to wean folk away from the ghastly murdoch empire:mad: :p :( ;) :D

Am I wasting my breath?:)
