There are a few spots next to the Loch. We stayed at the Forestry Commission site just before the begining of the Loch. It's worth a drive to the end of the Loch and back, mainly single track, not many passing places ,but not many vehicles in winter. We saw a lot of deer.

Be careful where you park, beyond the car park at the waterfalls (at the end of the "Dark Mile") belongs to the estate and camping permits are required.

Thanks for that. We stopped overnight at the car park by the waterfall, so I assume that was OK. There were no signs about permits though.

Watch out for the road flooding after rain.

When going up the loch after the first waterfall on the right the area between the next cattle grid and boat house can flood and be quite deep.

Worth noting as from this point the road is a dead end.

If you are lucky, you might find the treasure
