Hi all

we are currently sitting in the aire at utah beach (raining at moment) and are going to visitor centre tommorrow

Can any one recommend any other museums or things to see in the area

all the leaflets in the visitor centre are in french

We are heading for Dunkirk in the next 6 or 7 days

any help will be appreicated

Check out the Cupola near Arques and Dycksmuide in Belgium, both will bring tears to your eyes.

How about Omaha Beach Museum and Cemetery two different places also Arromanches Museum Then theres Pegasus Bridge
And the airborne museum at St Mere Eglise

Don't miss Pointe du Hoc where the Rangers scaled the cliffs under fire. Very thought provoking.

Try the 360 cinema on the cliffs over Arromanches, it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. There's an aire in the town near the sports centre or wild camp across the road.
