I have decided to sell "the Skylark" for numerous reasons the main one being I am looking for something a bit newer. She's a good wee van but, it must be said, is in need of an internal refit. It is a Renault Trafic, coach-built by O'Kelly of Dublin, with a 1.6 petrol engine (118k miles)returning 25-30 mpg. The chassis is solid as the van has spent most of it's life on the continent {no it's not a left hooker} It has good tyres and a fairly new looking exhaust. However there has been water getting in from the roof seems which will need fixing. As I was planning to work on the van over the winter I have let the MOT lapse but I see no reason it would not pass one. It is also currently on SORN [No tax].
I bought the van from eBay in Sept.06 and have used her on several occasions on trips round Scotland and down to The Maryport Blues Festival.
I think this wee van could be brought back to her former glory without too much grief or alternatively would make a good fishing/festival bus.
I'm open to sensible/reasonable offers.
