I am heading hat way on Saturday and would love to know where you stayed! We would love to park at Barry Knapp but no overnighting signs :-(.

We 3 vans (us, Stonedaddy, & Daisy Mini) stopped at Barry Knapp for 1 night after the Caerphilly meet. The signs are there - they drop down the barrier around 8pm also lock toilets & lift it again about 8 am ish. You can still drive out, but there is a cats claw thing to stop anyone driving in at night. There were another couple of mhs there as well. Tom (Stonedaddy) spoke to one of them who said they regularly stayed there overnight, and he seemed to think if you stayed one night (possibly 2), just don't take the p*** by putting your stuff out & staying longer you wouldn't have a problem. John spoke to the guys who opened the barrier the next day - didn't say anything about us overnighting.

We were disgusted by the amount of rubbish that the fishermen had left overnight on the beach, when there were dozens of litter bins. Too b **** lazy to just walk and put their rubbish in them. The council? guys were emptying the bins, but health & safety didn't allow them to go & pick any off the the sand - so they told John,

Thanks Jenny
we park there very often in the day and always move off early evening, never seen another m/h there, only the fishermen setting up,
