Hi Terry
It is not Google Map but Google Earth. Same thing but another program.
Download Google Earth and you have the whole world on your screen. Once
you zoomed in on a spot, the little hand gives you lat/long on the bottom of the screen. Though some areas are charper than others.
Unbelievebal what can be seen from space. When I zoom in to my house I can see Jack (the dog) in my garden (2 years ago I reccon). Big brother is watching

Just back from Portugal we came back via the North this time and went along the Douro valley it was fantastic the views were great.Stayed at Chaves where the hot spring is the water was so hot you could hardly put your hands in it we parked in the car park beside the spring 3 vans there.Police were having a recrutment weekend and no one said a word to us. we also camped at Lamego in acar park by the markets no problems toilets there as well .We then went into spain another wild camp spot at Ayamonte ...Panborbo at the boy on the rock stayed there a few times no problems Nice bar and there is a campsite but it wasnt open looked just like statics there.

Hi Belgium,
I know a couple of places that you name very well as I used to go there twice a month with a truck and I was usually weekended there.
The places are Leca de Palmeria, by the light house and the refineria and Matosinhos.
Both of these places are just outside Oporto.
Now in a truck, I would overnight there (on my guard) but in my pride and joy (motorhome) I think not!!!!!
Bandits everywhere!!!!!
Even a local restaraunt owner warned me about parking here!!! but it looks fantastic and you may be lucky!!! but please beware!!!
I do know a safe place but it is a few hours south and about one and a half hours south of Lisboa, it is called Sines and is the place where the famous historic seafarer Vasco de Garma came from:cool:
You can park on the harbour wall below the town and it is fantastic.!!! I have overnighted many times here and I would have no hesitations:cool:
