Hya...chrome on laptop and safari on ipad...have got opera mini installed on ipad also as read somewhere that it compresses data so doesn't eat into your allowance so much but as of yet haven't tried it.

I thought browsers were those people that frequent various retail outlets etc but never actually buy anything, or have I missed something

I think I"ve got internet explorer cos that"s what the laptop came with. I'm not very good with computers so work on the basis that if it"s working, leave well alone. I have always used Norton safe search but last year when we installed new protection I lost that bit on the tool bar and can"t get it back.

Firefox

Chrome for me. 2nd Choice and almost as good, Firefox. Ditto 3rd Choice Opera.

What I'd never use: IE

Chrome is good and fast if you can work out how to customise it and use the various options, menus and plug ins, which I'll admit is not exactly intuitive - I think they need to work on that!

Internet explorer on the lap top and Firefox on the desk top.
Google Chrome didn’t suit my desk top slowed it down to a snails pace, was almost ready to throw desk top out of closed window at one point until I read others were having similar problems, once uninstalled it turned into what’s his name Bolt…
