This is a great wild camping site we have used in the past. As close to the beach as you can get with amazing surfing and lots of cheap mussel restaurants round the corner (i.e that is about all they sell - great steaming buckets of them!)

The Atlantic coast here is great for water sports, you can even walk south for a bit and find yourself in one of the oldest naturist campsites with a naturist beach if you fancy running down the beach tearing all your clothes off.

Be warned - this site can get busy in the summer but even then there is usually a space or two. Quiet at other times. It is unusual to find anyone from the UK there - or at least that is what we have found.

Link doesn't work, but that's where we're headed in 3 weeks' time (height barriers notwithstanding). If the weather holds out, we'll be there for a month - there are several wilding spots in the area, loads of cycle trails too.
