I just did the test. Said 70% around Hull. Swing we live in southport that's pretty accurate, as same line but opposite coast.

scored a very southern 7% indicated close to Jersey... was posted there once but originally from Gravesend which makes me a Man of Kent or a Kentish Man - can never remember which one is which!!! Living in Sheffield now so would have thought I would have scored better.

I've done OK 85%, around York. Lived all my life in the south (now in France) and west but ma & pa were from Scotland. Why do I feel so pleased with myself!

Makes me a Northener from Middlesborough..

As a scouser I was quite pleased to join you right on the borders of Albion. But I am a bit perplexed by the very eastern bias of the "results". Nonetheless, Middlesboro is pretty much "home from home" to me. At least the people there will talk to you, unlike the fearty cats in London, the Home counties, Bristol & Bath.

Why?

cos I was born in Chatham Kent, and lived in Sittingbourne kent til I joined the Army in Dover,at 16.
Started living in Sheffield at 40.

Maybe they were all residents of Clifton, or foreign students, that I tried chatting to then, cos they all turned away. Bloody rude & miserable lot in Brizzle.

You must have been a Junior leader then?

Anyway don't know what all the fuss is about, don't need a meter.... anything above the Watford Gap is Northern, simples, tch.

95% Middlesborough when I did it. It,s set up for the Yorkshire area obviously, no-one would give thought to barms and Ilkley moor where I live, It,s stotties and the Cheviots. Anyone south of the Tyne is a Mackem or a southerner to us Northumbrians. Happy camping, Tompa.

72% northern - somewhere around Hull apparently. Since I'm a southerner who has lived in Derbyshire for 40 years, I think that means I'm naturalised!
