We put our beloved Westie woofer to sleep a few weeks ago: acute kidney failure. I've cheered myself up with another woofer: one that doesn't wake me in the middle of the night or make a mess on the lawn! Details here:

Amp of the Month (http://www.fastcar.co.uk/2013/03/12/amp-of-the-month-kenwood-ksc-sw11/)

It was delivered today, can't wait to fit it under Jan's seat: she will get a surprise when I switch it on!

Not sure about that new woofer of yours. I dont think it will wash your face or take you for walks.

Very tasty - nice and discreet. I'll be very interested to hear what you think of it.

with that blasting out under her jacksie as the add say's, I think the other half might end up a tad more excited than you ;)

Took the advice offered and the unit was fitted in front of the wooden box to the right of the passenger seat - the Hymer is LHD. The sound, at normal volume, is not a traffic light nuisance, more a subtle augmentation of your car stereo sound, until you turn up the volume, when it burst into life and my other half retreated to the other end of the van! Excellent quality and I am well pleased.
Money well spent.
