I was wondering if any members have recently had their motorhome re upholster'd... I have recently purchased a Swift Suntor 640g 03 plate and would like to spruce up the interior seating 2 bench seats in dinette. front driving seats pelmet on overcab bed and possibly the fixed bed in the rear the MH is in fantastic condition apart from the worn and tired looking upholstery
I would like to get this done over the winter months and would really like a ball park sort of price I'd be looking at to get the work done
Any help would be appreciated

My old Hymer 544 was re upholstered by a domestic upholsterer,I supplied the material,(on his advice as to the best type) .Front captains chairs 150 each rear Pullman dinette seats and day bed/couch (2 long pleated cushions) 250,material 30 with loads to spare from a bankrupt supply shop.
I took the seats out over a period of time so I could still use the van.
The chap I used specialised in clubs and hotel work as well as leisure craft including the Mersey Ferries.
Trying asking domestic firms before you go to a 'specialist' vehicle bod, same work, but you may save a shed load of dosh.

Thanks John
I managed to find your photos of the Hymer 644A upholstered seats looked spot on very professional job noticed that the side panel in dinette area was also upholstered
I am going to try as suggested to find a local upholsterer but Kent as you say is not far away so room for thought

Thanks Sasquatch and Ricc for your replies also judging by sasquatch's reply I'm looking at roughly 750 which wont break the bank but will finish the interior to a nice standard for us to be comfortable in
Btw forgive the unintended pun in the title :giggle:

Many thanks for the link having viewed the site we have contacted them for a quote . Although we live in West Sussex the idea that the works can be completed in one day appeals , and we can also combine a trip to Derbyshire :camper:

Hi- we are in Morocco at present, and whilst we are here we are thinking about re-upholstery. If we do fid something, we will post the details of price, labour, time etc.
Who knows, some of you may be coming down this way.
Meantime, if anyone has already had re-upholstery done in Morocco, will they please tell us where and for how much?
cheers
Steve
