Stayed on a free Aires here recently, parked overnight and saw the first showing of the day at about 10:30.

A great piece of editing - bring a hankie.
An easy walk to Arromanches for lunch afterwards

Hi luckheart,

We were there a couple of years ago and done the Pegasus Bridge and the Bayeux Tapestry, well worth seeing.

Snowbirds.

Stayed on the Aire in the centre of Arromanches about 18 months ago - wow, you really need to 'love your neighbour'! Could hardly get a fag paper between the m/homes.

If you mean the one in the centre of village we stayed there 2 weeks ago and yes...a liitle bit tight lol. And there is another at the top of the hill also. But its a lovely little place...we also did Pegasus and stayed on an aire right alongside Cosey's bunker . It was a great little trip

We enjoyed the Tapestry some years ago: unfortunately we started at the wrong end...

Went there on our first trip to france and it was our first stop coming from calais a few years ago in summer it was packed and could not get on the aire but was a really nice place. We ended up stopping at the longues-sur-mer battery which was a really good place to visit the kids loved exploring all the big guns.
