Please note I have lent out my big sites book of the cc.c if I get it back in time I will do a search, as I'm sure there a couple of cl/cs sites in the area, Wigan comes to mind and one that keeps coming up on my tom tom every time i travel on the M58 but no far from the switch island roundabout. Perhaps somebody else on here can help you further:scooter::scooter::scooter::scooter::scoote r::scooter::scooter:

we live in Waterloo - north Liverpool - and there is a car park on the coast that we have stayed in when the house gets too full (!!!). It is included - or it was - on the poi list

Go down to Crosby and (Sir) Anthony Gormley's Statues of men on the beach called Another Place, there are brown signs to it.There is a large carparking area to the left of the coastguard lookout point, should be ok there.

Waterloo's nearer to town but it's the same coast!
