Just had a great overnight free wild camp here. Hardstanding for a dozen vehicles and flat.
We are about a 100 yards from the sea and pretty spectacular views all round. It is so remote from any housing and is just a gem. All here alone !

Extra high tides reported for the next 24 hours.

Get out of there! :scared:

Nice place, despite the close proximity of the low level repository.

Couple of points in its favour though.

1. With being alongside the Drigg facility there will probably be some level of security.

2. It's a grand spot for a bit of beach fishing.

Just watch out for the mutant, killer, seven foot tall rabbits:ninja:

Low level waste, unexploded shells on the beach after high tide, what's not to like? I'll give it a bash next time I'm out!

Lucky ya weren't moved on by the Civil Nuclear Constabulary, just in case you were ... "one of those types" !

Not a bad Pub in Drigg village, and decent beach. There's nothing wrong with the LLWR tbh. glad you enjoyed it.

Funnily enough the police DID come ... We saw a blue flashing light come into the car park about 10pm. Luckily they went away again.

Maybe terrorists don't drive around in Anniversary VW Clubmans lol

Ps What's LLWR and tbh ? Confused.com
