Is there anything planned for the next bank holiday at the beginning of May?

I log in to this forum regularly and up to now ,nothing planned for that weekend, however if you want to take a lead and suggest something in our "Northern Hemisphere" I could be interested:rolleyes:

Yep. Hitting the road towards Germany, Hamburg, Bodensee (lake Konstanz) onto Lichtenstein, over the Swizz Alps heading for Spain through the French and Spainish Pyrenees until I hit the Ocean in Spain. Will be hopping the beaches all the way along the coastline to Gibraltar and then into Portugal upto Vilamoura. Back track back into Spain and head back towards Gemany. Sadly, I have to head home but only for a short while. Leaving on the 2nd of May and will be back around end of July, early August. I wish all you guys a fantastic summer where ever you go. Drive safe and have fun.

We will probably wild it somewhere in Wales!!
If not we may go to Derbyshire, Cromford or?????????:D

Hi Mick sounds loverly - not keen on Bank Holls too busy for me.... may go and buy a nice comfy chair/lounger and look round towsure. :D

missed these coast roads out 2 weeks ago came back moor road from Scarbrough / Brid , like coast better more views less Traffic , Great fish/chips from RIVERSIDE CHIPPY in Whitby , propbly park near Sandsend though .
