:P Hi jo.i.o.w. My daughter bought a set of Kettle, Toaster and Iron some years ago which had dual Voltage of 110/240. I believe it was called a Travel set. I'm sorry I cannot remember where she bought it from. But we use the kettle now in our 110v RV. B)

Try RVSpares...they are in Cheltenham, but have an Ebay shop, too. Very helpful guys who will get you anything for an RV. Have workshop facilities as well.(known as "Motorhome Medics)
Toasters start at 20 Kettles about 25 upwards...they do all manner of other 110v appliances, too.

240 volt Kettles work on 110 volt just slower have used one for years speck you'd not burn much toast though

I'm guessing that since the OP was in 2005, they already have one by now! :D

But they wanted 110. That's a lot of tea and toast.

Saw some here in Lidls, the other day, kettles I mean, 7.50 each, so 7.5 x 110= 825.................. Also, do you tow a trailer!!!:have fun:

I am really illiterate regards electrics. My question is: If a kettle or toaster is 110v but the wattage is 1200w or 1800w does that mean that some batteries will drain faster or may even blow the fuse because of the wattage. Appreciate a lesson on basic electrics, thanks in advance.
