Take the B8057 north of Poolewe, towards Cove.About miles long is beautiful Firemore Beach. The local grazing committee allow camping here, 2 a night in the honesty box or I think 10 the week. A superb spot.

If you continue along to the end of the road, there is a gravelled carpark by cliffs. There are lots of old gun emplacements and a memorial to a convoy. Looked ok to stay the night but we preferred the beach at Firemore.

We stayed at Firemore beach last night. Still only 2 per night or 10 per week.
Beautiful views. The only problem was there were a group of travellers on the site. W
e spoke to some people who had been there for some time and they said they had had no problems with them and they were on a different part of the site

Yes, I think they were there in 2008, on the right as you entered the site. Old transit type vans and youngsters riding miotorbikes. Never caused any problems, as far as we were aware.
