Splendid wee town on the coast with a beach, pubs, resturants, chippys etc.

Head in on the A98 from Inverness direction. Turn left upon entering the village just as the main road swings right, and heads up hill.

Follow the wee road down hill, turn right at the junction and head along until you come to a large parking area right on the sea front.

Spent two nights here with no hassles. Walk out around the coast is nice. We were there for climbing at Logie Head (great crag). Beach is a short walk along the coast in the opposite direction.

Local ice cream is excellent!

There are some toilets 100M on the right if you walk from the car park back towards the village (open 8AM-8PM, seasonal), and a bin in the car park. There was one other van present each night we were there.

No satellite TV reception due to sea cliffs blocking the view south - south-east.

Mobile phones work OK.

There are "no overnight parking" signs there now (although two vans were ignoring them when we passed by). If you prefer not to upset the locals, try following the signs to the harbour and then continue past for 200 yards. On the left is a sheltered, quiet and well-hidden spot with no banning notices. An Austrian van was also there when we called.

And if you go to the beach with a fishing rod you might well save a few quid,

it's good!
