Has anyone stayed at any of the Blackpool wild camp stops recently? There are a few but just wondering which would be quietest on a sat night (not that blackpool is ever quiet on sat night)
Thanks

St Annes is your best bet . Blackpool is very motorhome unfriendly and the traffic wardens are like locust :)

Motorhomes are prohibited from parking on the prom and pay & display street parking during the day as well in Blackpool.

https://www.blackpool.gov.uk/Residents/Parking-roads-and-transport/Parking/Blackpool-car-park-locations.aspx

and 8th line down https://www.blackpool.gov.uk/Residents/Parking-roads-and-transport/Parking/On-street-parking-charges.aspx

Be careful, there are plenty of signs displaying warnings about this :goodluck:

if you want a sat night out then just use hampton road social club camp site - right in the city centre (opposite south pier) with good bus/tram connections if you don't fancy the long prom walk. Safe place with no worries about leaving your van unattended.

Sounds like a good option. I've read abit about another council being short-sighted when it comes to motor-homers.

I managed to park in the coach park in Blackpool for the day a few weeks ago for 5.00 (I did check with a traffic warden and they said it was ok) then stayed the night in St Anne's near the Toby carvery the machines were not in use at that time so managed a free night.
