Hi Leo
Don't know where this information came from but as you state elsewhere it is 5 years old.
If you go to http://i-campingcar.fr/aires/accueil.htm you will have options to search for both aires and stopping places in not only the Haute Pyreenes but the rest of France. This information is a lot more up to date than that posted above and based on peoples actual recent experiences.

I use the Campingcars website a lot. I liked it so much that I even bought the DVD :D
When I first had the disk I manged to download it into M/S Autoroute. I couldn't tell you how I did it and wish that I could still get the disk onto this copy of Autoroute.
Anyone got any ideas on this?

The current i-camping car autoroute file downloads everything as a route -this means that it tries to compute a route round all locations -some 1100. I use Autoroute 2006 but note there may be issues with 2007.

Another way is to get hold of, from the site, the file in another format e.g. Tomtom and then use a freeware programme such as POI edit or ITN conv (see http://benichougps.blogspot.com/ )to save the file as a csv then use this file to import data into Autoroute. On the way you can use Excel to sort the data so you can extract just the co-ordinates in one area.

Another useful feature of ITN conv is that it will extract co-ordinates from an Autoroute routing file (not sure if this works with 2007) Hope this helps

I only compile info from different sources and put it on one list, print it out, also point it out on my Michelin atlas. Easier to handle. And yes http://www.campingcar-infos.com/index1.htm andhttp://www.i-campingcar.fr/accueilcartes.htmare the best sources, very up-to-date; but a little unhandy when driving around for they don't refer to the atlas.
I was in that region now 5 years ago; and didn't update it toroughly. Nice region BTW and reasonable MH-friendly, especially in the smaller not that touristic, but beautiful, places. A fine hiking region, if you have breath enough  For walks have a look at http://campingcar-rando.net/init/accueil.php

I did the same Baloo.
But now I see that you can download from their site POI's in .asc and .ov2, but apperently not anymore directly to M/S Autoroute; or maybe these have to be conversed; and that's an other question

A little further west in the Pyrenees Atlantique. But a good stop is St pierre St Martin a ski station. (closes to camping cars 15 th Sept )

But full facilites including free Electricity !!!..I stopped there last year for a week. Excellent walking country, the hound loved it.

Only about 3 miles from Spain too.

A bit further east is the resort of Artouste.....excellent wild camping perhaps I will attempt to post some pics.
